What is an HSRP?

HSRP (High-Security Registration Plate) is a new type of number plate introduced by the Indian government to increase vehicle security. It comes with several safety features:

• Chromium-based hologram of Ashoka Chakra
• Tamper-proof locks so it can’t be removed easily
• Color-coded sticker indicating fuel type

Who Needs to Apply?

You must apply for an HSRP if:

• Your vehicle was registered before April 1, 2019
• Your vehicle does not already have an HSRP
• You’ve changed your registration number or RTO state

• At your home (only in selected cities)

Step 4: Select Date & Time

• Pick a convenient date and time slot for installation.

Step 5: Pay Online

Make the payment using debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking.
